I don't think so - he was a Reiner was a big TV star then, he wouldn't have done modeling work like that...
It's just a very common look for the time... I definitely see the similarity - the two men resemble one another for sure, but Reiner's eyes and nose were a little different.
OMG---I had the Wond and the Rain ones. I loved them...and not long ago, there was a Christmas gift set with Love's Baby SOft, Love;s Fresh Lemon and Rain...I bought it just so I could have the Rain scent and all these years later it still smelled really good to me.
THIS. My sister and i loved Love's Baby Soft, but if we actually wore it, we smelled like spoiled milk. We ended up just spritzing a little on our shirts so we could still enjoy it.
So that's where Love's Rain scent comes from! I used to love that stuff, back when I was a poor college student who could only afford drugstore perfume and scented oil bought from street vendors ($3 a vial!)I wonder if they still sell it.
You know, I think from this promotion RAIN was probably the only scent that was a hit... because I only remember Rain, Babysoft, and Fresh Lemon... I never saw this original set of 4.
Do you remember their crazy phallic packaging?
EDIT: sorry my bad - these were LATER... they started with Rain and apparently expanded the line (I just realized via date)
wow...

Priceless.

They were so much the rage I felt so left-out that I could not wear them!

I think the ad is really pretty. I just don't like the expressions on the faces of two of the men. Deer in headlights.
