Apparently this is, in fact, the Watusi.

at first glance, it seems silly, doesn't it? and then you begin to think about Saccharin, Aspertame, and High Fructose Corn Syrup and suddenly, a nice heaping teaspoon of sugar doesn't sound so bad...

I kind of love that she isn't wearing the tight revealing clothes that everyone that age has to wear today … she looks comfortable!

She also looks like she's genuinely having a whale of a time instead looking like she's bored or dead. I think it's a great picture. Makes me want to give sugar to my hypothetical kids.

It really is a great picture--fun and energetic.

that's pretty much my high school uniform...and those sweaters can be itchy, and those skirts get wrinkly (and aren't as flexible as pants), and and those shoes are stiff. but still, much better than tight/precarious clothing.

I could totally see a new ad campaign like this -- in fact I think the sugar council is long overdue in fighting against the ravages of high fructose corn syrup (and yep, those other nasty artificial sweeteners). I won't get on my high horse here about it, but HFC is one of the worst things ever foisted on the American public. Let's hear it for real, honest-to-goodness sugar!
